The Client
The successful retailer has worked with Motif before on several of her brands and she wanted us to help bring her new concept to life; name and all.
The Challenge
Naming and branding a concept for a store that specializes in apothecary goods, but with a rural twist that lends itself to the local aestehtic to attract locals as well as the constant flow of tourists.

The Strategy
The naming of the apothecary joined with the larger strategy that connects with the other retail brands the client created. This allowed for the specific brand to lean into its own identity that has a similar personality but strategically is positioned for the immediate geographical market where the storefront is located.
The Design
To capture a rural essence visually that connects with the local audience while capturing the themed expectations of the tourists visiting the area needed surgical precision to avoid cliches associated with the country and the fleeting trends of desert design.

The birth of an apothecary that has addressed a unique need in the market while framing the store experience in an interesting way that appeals to both locals and tourists. The rural yet contemporary brand connects with those from the country while draws in those looking for more country in their lives.
The Results
The store had a great opening launch and is already proving itself in the new market as the store performs — and even outperforms other retail stores — in the area.
