Focusing on the identity of the brand, deliberate refinements and slight pivots helped soften the brand as well as become more relevant to the audience. The approach of a more lifestyle-like brand allows the business to appeal and grow.

The Design

Reducing the sharpness and masculinity of the existing brand, has allowed the new brand to be more welcoming and warm as it draws in customers. The softer design visually compensates for the preconceived notions of the dental office and dental procedures. This is further carried out in brand messaging, imagery, and further touchpoints

As an intriguing sub-brand, our client had a whiskey product that was under the Aerovista Dental brand name. We decided to strategically pivot the whiskey’s brand name to more of an appealing and nostalgic personality.

The re-envisioned “Dr. Williamson’s Liquid Novocaine” sub-brand shines light on the dental practice in a fun way while still making it more personable by connecting it directly to the owner/dentist of Aerovista Dental. Due to the new position, the brand and label now are more impactful and drive an emotional connection through an interesting and humorous concept that won’t be forgotten.
