Specializing in providing the highest standards of cosmetic, implant, and general dentistry through the latest technologies and environmentally-conscious practices, Islay Hill Dentistry focuses on creating an experience that will make you forget you’re at your dentist.
The Challenge
A new dental office starting from scratch needed a complete brand identity that stood out from the crowd and challenged the industry’s status quo while still being welcoming to their audience of professionals and families.
The Strategy
By emphasizing the approachability of the business through brand implementation and brand messaging (or what we like to call “voxo”), we encouraged the brand break outside of the industry norms (and cliches). The brand strategy was two-fold in efforts to naturally allow the brand to stand out aesthetically while having an inherent personality that talks to you like a friend.
The Design
The design focuses on the desired outcome in a high-fashion manner that also ties in the brand name and local region to keep it authentically relevant. The icon at first glance is abstract yet quickly refers to happiness as it resembles a full, straight set of pearly white teeth. The mind interprets this smile and ignites inner happiness to associate with the brand and business. The subtle hint to the reversed curvature of the hill of “Islay Hill” gives a nod to the natural monument as if it were a shadow being casted.
