Dreamers & Lovers specializes in creating unique wedding dresses for the nontraditional bride.
The Challenge
As the business launched, it needed a brand identity that communicated the essence of the dress designer's vision while connecting with the psychograph of the nontraditional bride of today.
The Strategy
After researching the wedding dress industry, our approach was quickly determined. The strategy of developing a brand that stood apart from the competition enough but also represented the style of the dress designer. A fine balance of brand differentiation and still appealing to those shopping who may align with the brand’s mission.
The Design
Based on the brand name, we created a monoline logo design that brings to life the timeless yet progressive qualities of the business as a whole. The design is both aspirational and approachable. The intention was to avoid looking like other dress designers while appealing to the female who is on the hunt for the perfect gown but doesn’t want the traditional options. The femine design focuses on portraying the brand name in an icon that can be reproduced cost-effectively while still being memorable.
