A well-known hunting guide in California who specializes in guided hunts for boar, wild turkey, rams, deer/elk and quail/doves.
The Challenge
Taking the business to the next level and accounting for scalability and growth, we needed a new approach to the complete rebrand and new name. Beyond just improving the identity, we needed to reposition the brand to stand out from the competition as the long term mission.
The Strategy
Competitors in this sector look and sound very similar to one another. By rebranding from the ground up, we were able to introduce a new name as well as an entire brand that challenged the status quo and was focused on telling a story that goes beyond just the activity of hunting. By tapping into psychographics through storytelling, we are able to add value and emotional connection to the brand that wouldn’t have been possible before.
The Design
The identity design for this brand needed to be something that appealed to the audience while still enveloping more than just the act of hunting – to go beyond just the service of the business, but be able to mean more in the present and future. The design is a monogram-focused concept that is inspired by the circular base of a bullet casing that incorporates both subtle textures and stylings as well as a signature monogram. A professional and clean design that isn’t too literal while allowing the brand to go beyond just meaning “hunting” — this will enable future growth and scaling.
